COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Encantado has a deep commitment to the local Albuquerque community, and our goal is to develop the next generation of leaders. Our outreach is led by a dedicated community outreach liaison in support of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs, internships, and IT career development. We also focus on recruiting local talent who are committed to giving back to their community through their time and resources.

In 2023, Team Encantado donated food and goods to El Ranchito de Los Ninos, Roadrunner Food Bank, and the kids of Penasco, NM.

The Encantado Foundation

The Encantado Foundation stimulates the development of hire-ready candidates for STEM-related positions, particularly in the areas of cyber security, application development and management, and IT operations. The organization seeks to foster the professional development of individuals who wish to be a part of the digital workforce — including those from underrepresented communities in tech careers such as women, people of color, native people, and people with physical limitations — while also reshaping the way that workforce resources are acquired by technology-related employers.

To date, the Encantado Foundation has granted nearly $1,000,000 to non-profit organizations the advance STEM in New Mexico.
