GENERAL MANAGERS

Phil Lopez

General Manager

Mr. Lopez brings over a decade of experience optimizing service delivery for federal clients, consistently designing and implementing scalable solutions that support our customers’ missions. His strategic vision and hands-on approach have driven significant improvements in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across various projects.

A graduate of Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, Mr. Lopez possesses a strong foundation in leading curious and collaborative teams towards achieving organizational goals. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds certifications in various IT Service Management (ITSM) methodologies, including ITIL and Agile.

Stacia Schurott

Deputy General Manager

Dr. Schurott is responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of day-to-day contract operations support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that require managing teams of contractor and vendor personnel at multiple locations. She assists to formulate and review task plans and deliverables ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations. Dr. Schurott also manages and oversees the Cyber Security and PMO functions, which support all 8 functional service delivery areas.

Dr. Schurott holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management, with a specialization in IT Management. She is a certified Project Management Professional.

Dr. Schurott enjoys taking advantage of everything that Northern New Mexico has to offer with her husband and 3 dogs, and cheering for her favorite football team. Go Steelers!

OPERATIONS MANAGERS

James “JT” Ansell

HPC, Server, CAD Operations Manager

Mr. Ansell is the Operations Manager for High Performance Computing (HPC), Server and CAD teams. In this position, Mr. Ansell provides operational leadership to projects that implement new and maintain existing HPC environments using an integrated ITIL and Agile based methodology.

Oversees corrective, preventative, perfective, and adaptive operations and maintenance of NTESS operational server systems and application environments. He leads a team of 60 members.

Mr. Ansell retired from the Marine Corps in April 2020 after serving as an Communications-Electronics Maintenance Chief. Mr. Ansell has certifications in ITIL v4, KCS v6, Security Management, and formal school instructor.

Mr. Ansell enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 kids, playing video games, and camping.

Lori Hatcher

Mission/Embedded OM

Ms. Hatcher is the Operations Manager for the Mission and Embedded teams. Ms. Hatcher manages teams providing multi-Tier embedded mission and end-user support to a diverse technical user base for scientific, engineering technical needs across Sandia classified and unclassified environments using the Agile methodology. She leads a team of 73 members.

Ms. Hatcher studied Business Computer Systems at New Mexico State University. She is a certified Project Management Professional.

Ms. Hatcher enjoys volunteering with her son’s little league team, swimming, bowling, and baking.

Shaun Harriss

Service Center OM

Brian McCool

Application Development, SecOps, Maintenance, AQ, and PM OM

Mr. McCool is the Operations Manager for App Dev, SecOps, Maint., QA and PM teams. In this position, Mr. McCool manages teams providing diverse IT application development, maintenance, quality assurance and project management support using Agile-backed DevSecOps practices in the ITIL Services Lifecycle. In addition, his teams support virtual systems, Office 365, SharePoint, and Exchange. He leads a team of 75 members.

Mr. McCool holds an M.S. in IT System Design and Programming.

Mr. McCool enjoys cooking, fishing, woodworking, bowling, billiards, riding his motorcycle, and mentoring.

Natalie Lopez

Telecom, Infrastructure, Warehouse & SOC OM

Ms. Lopez is the Operations Manager for the Telecom, Infrastructure, Warehouse & SOC teams. Ms. Lopez directs teams providing LAN/WAN, telephone, wired/wireless communications, and computer room infrastructure computing system analysis, monitoring and control, Tiers 2 and 3 Issue Resolution, applying innovative technologies such cognitive computing, context-aware computing, predictive analytics, AI/ML, and cloud service. Additionally, she manages projects providing system monitoring; issue identification, resolution, reporting, tracking and trend analysis; security analysis, and integration of automated monitoring tools. Lastly, Ms. Lopez is responsible for providing a flexible staffing model supporting consistent and efficient 24x7x365 coverage. She leads a team of 88 members.

Ms. Lopez enjoys cooking, sewing, the outdoors and spending time with family.
