Encantado Technical Solutions (ETS) is an unpopulated Small Business Administration-approved mentor-protégé joint venture between Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc. and ECS Federal, LLC. ETS is bolstered by second-tier subcontractors Information International Associates (IIA) and Amentum. ETS provides comprehensive enterprise and mission-embedded IT support for the $400 – $700 million Third-Party Telecommunications and Information Technology Support Services contract at Sandia National Laboratories. ETS is currently recruiting for a variety of cleared and uncleared IT positions with on-site and remote opportunities in New Mexico and California. As ETS is unpopulated, employees will work for one of the four companies listed above.

 

IT Project Manager 

The Environment, Safety and Health Systems Engineering department develops and supports, agile, integrated, process-based software solutions that enable Sandia to achieve its business and mission objectives, with focus on the health and safety of the workforce, and protection of the environment, while complying with regulatory and other requirements effectively and efficiently. 

Subcontractor experience with the following is required: 

  • Knowledge and use of .Net, Javascript, Ruby, C++, Java, and C# software language. 
  • Knowledge, understanding and best practice use of applications. 
  • Use of Ruby on Rails application framework.  

In addition to tasks above, may be required to provide documented proposals for new, optimized, or refactored software solutions.  

Candidate can work remotely but will required to travel on site at first and then occasionally throughout the year. 

Work will be split 50/50 between 2 projects: 

 

CAPARS Project Manager (PM) 

The individual will coordinate a highly visible Emergency Management IT Information (IT) project using agile and traditional methods, providing expertise to evaluate a specialized COTS product and implement it into the Sandia IT Infrastructure environment, while collaborating with partners, customers and vendors from across other internal/external domains. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with the EM IT Service Manager on 
  • Determining customer, vendor, and product requirements 
  • Developing a project plan 
  • Managing work intake 
  • Managing scope and schedule 
  • Coordinating partner communication 
  • Coordinating resources 
  • Build and maintain associated documentation following Sandia’s Solutions Delivery Lifecycle (SDL) 
  • Motivate the team in standard methodologies/processes 

 

Catbert Project PM 

The Project Manager to coordinate with the business to move files and folders from a legacy file server to a Corporate SDSS drive. will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Manages the project to ensure adherence to schedule and scope of project. 
  • Develops project plan and road map to move all files and folders of the legacy system. 
  • Provides status updates to affected staff and management and stakeholders. 
  • Works with the Business Lead to get the business to move directories in accordance with the project plan 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
  • Work project impediments to ensure the project is completed on time 

 

Required Skills: 

  • PMP Certified 
  • Organized with attention to detail. 
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning. 
  • Understanding of information technology procedures and practices. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software to manage projects 
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.
