Encantado Technical Solutions is currently seeking a Systems Operation Analyst I to support an IT program for the Department of Energy at Sandia National Laboratories.

Mid -Shift 10:30pm-7:00am or Swing 2:30pm-11:00pm 

The mission of Enterprise Service Management and Monitoring is to develop and maintain a big picture, end-to-end view of operational IT services. We blend IT Service Management tools and best-practice ITIL processes to lead improvements in IT Service Management. Our portfolio includes automated discovery, performance and availability monitoring, enterprise and mission testing, a central tool suite with a service asset repository that supports all ITSM processes, including mature service catalog, request fulfillment, incident management, knowledge management, problem management, change management, service asset and configuration management, enterprise logging, and event management practices.  

The SOC is staffed to provide performance and availability monitoring and notification on a 24x7x365 basis.  This SOC Analyst position provides for the monitoring and notification of Sandia National Laboratories IT infrastructure which includes servers, network, databases and applications.   

Daily responsibilities include: 

• Provide Environmental Safety Walkthroughs SOC Analysis Services 
• Provide event, warning, alert, and alarm processing and management. Coordinate resolution of the event, warning, alert, and alarm messages Network Intrusion Detection Services.  
• Detect events collected by the Cyber Enterprise Management System (CEMS) across the Sandia computing environments including all corporate networks and corporate telephone  
• Monitor batch processing job flows on two corporate networks and monitor that requested batch completion times are met, escalate when required. Provide prompt and accurate response to error notifications (Alerts)  
• Administer and support on-premises APC (Advance Persistent Cloud) – Cyber’s Azure Stack private cloud platform that my department M&O’s which includes patching, configuration, service and incident fulfillment, and capacity management. Maintains the integrity of servers and systems to meet established requirements for service levels, disaster recovery, and business.  
• Provide IT project and service management support & space coordinator space/facilities management 

Encantado Technical Solutions (ETS) is an unpopulated Small Business Administration-approved mentor-protégé joint venture between Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc. and ECS Federal, LLC.
