Encantado Technical Solutions is currently seeking a PTS/TEMPEST Coordinator to support an IT program for the Department of Energy at Sandia National Laboratories.

Job Description:

Plan, coordinate, and assist with information security compliance and accreditation related to enterprise networks and IT systems. The TEMPEST/Telecommunications Security team carries out information assurance and technical security program activities to include security plan management, Protected Distribution Systems (PDS), TEMPEST, and COMSEC.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Technical Security, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), COMSEC, PDS, or Cybersecurity.
• Experience with telecommunications testing equipment and tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office applications are required.
• Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate work effort between multiple groups.
• Strong understanding of cable infrastructure both fiber and cooper

Desired Skills:

• Familiar with radio frequency devices
• Familiar with telecommunications testing devices
