PD 675 Business Analyst, Continual Service Improvement

Encantado Technical Solutions is currently seeking a Business Analyst, Continual Service Improvement to support an IT program for the Department of Energy at Sandia National Laboratories.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

Provide expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements. Provide expertise in change management and training support. Provide organizational and strategic planning for a wide variety of technical and functional environments. Provide expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Aid in maintaining CSI register and updates.
  • Lead daily standups.
  • Lead project and sprint planning meetings.
  • Conduct retrospective analysis of project execution.
  • Create customer requirements in the form of user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
  • Provide support to Project Coordinators and Service Managers engaged in CSI activities.
  • Ensure that the services we provide adhere to ITIL and Sandia Quality standards.
  • Aid in the development of processes and tools that deliver a stable and secure desktop to enable customer efficiency and improves end-user experience.
  • Participate in assignments which support organizational and Sandia projects, programs, and business operations.
  • Create solutions to specific problems related to issues of moderate scope, complexity, and impact with our customers.
  • Encourage changes to methods or processes and occasionally lead teams and participate in planning, conducting, and reporting on projects.
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with others, communicating to your supervisor, and speaking with various stakeholders

Skills Required:  as per the SR:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoE Clearance. Due to the nature of the work & its location, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Possess Three+ years of demonstrated PC support, diagnostic/troubleshooting & repair experience, including a solid working knowledge of PC operations including hardware, operating systems and network settings.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced MS productivity suite & collaborative applications expertise (e.g. Office, Access/SQL, Visio, SharePoint, etc.)

Skills Desired:

  • Active DOE Clearance. DoE L Clearance at a minimum. Q preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • IT Certifications to include CompTia, Microsoft or Apple Certifications.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced desktop support & trouble shooting skills
  • Knowledge of Computer Management Solutions, IT Cyber Policies, and common enterprise environments.
  • Experience Leading IT teams or projects
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

Education Required: 

  • BS or BA in related field, or 6 years of related experience.
