Encantado Technical Solutions is currently seeking Application Engineer II to support an IT Managed Services program for the Department of Energy. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations. The Application Engineer II will provide on-site and off-site for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems for National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia (NTESS) with a workforce of approximately 14,000 personnel.
Requirements:
- Analyze and study complex system requirements. Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation. Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimate software development costs and schedule. Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Supervise software configuration management.
Education: BA/BS, Years of Experience: 1 at Level II
Skills Req:
- HPC Experience,

Job Features
| Required Qualification Level II | Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year of experience relative to the requirements. |

| Security Clearance Required | TS or DOE Q, None at start |
| Note | Ability to be cleared at the TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q/L level and the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract. Active Clearance at the TS or DOE L level a plus. |
